About
For a long time, I’ve dreamed of having this domain.
Years ago, I was disappointed when someone else was already using it, but I was so dazzled by his website and his art, it was okay. I even linked to his website from my own art site.
In fact, it amazed me that we shared so many interests. I wonder if the word came from something Disney, and I only thought I’d made it up. (My mother was an early Disney artist, and I raised my children with frequent visits to WDW… like every two weeks. One did the College Program… twice.)
Anyway, the domain name showed up when I was renewing other domains. I checked the Wayback Machine, and the last update was February 10, 2005. The U.S. trademark for Hallowmoon had expired, too.
So, I aspire to make this as creatively inspiring as the previous Hallowmoon website. That’s a very lofty (and frankly, unlikely) goal to reach for.
My art and articles will be a little different, of course. I’m drawing from similar inspiration, but a different background.
I’m a little intimidated by the precedent, but I’m going to do my best.
